Simplicity of being "Simple in actions and in thoughts, you return to the source of Being . . . "
Lao Tzu Through the process of spiritual alchemy, we distill and cook down to find the simple truth, the original, and the authentic. Creative energy and it's flow is the expression of that alchemy. The flow is looking for a direction to follow like creeks to rivers to oceans. Through my 35 years of working with individuals who are on their path to Awakening or realizing their True Nature, I became aware of how the cleaver mind can spin some very creative stories and how those stories spin into sequels and the same sequels can rerun for many seasons. |
Remember, creativity will take the path that is presented to it. This same creative mind can become very complicated with drama composed of feelings and emotions from the past as well as fears and mistrust of the future.
To keep the story going we start believing that we are what we do in the world, the roles we play, what we accomplish, what we accumulate. We keep adding layers upon layers and then wonder why we feel out of touch with our essential True Nature.
The questions than start to arise, what is this creation that I have entitled my life? Our stories and our lives are woven out of the same supreme consciousness of the Universe only in contracted form.
When you look at your lives through this expanded view of reality, it becomes easier to let go of false identifications and beliefs. Your ground of Being begins to shift from memories which hold old ideas, and the tensions of unexpressed feelings and emotions, to the simple state of Being. Simple does not mean a lack of intelligence but rather uncomplicated and direct. Undivided, composed of only one not two is another description of the simple state of Being. Being is fully experienced as Presence when you are in the creative flow of the present moment, grounded in your daily life.
